ABOUT ME

Welcome to my MSGIS portfolio containing my work at the University of Utah! I was first introduced to GIS by my Dad (who works in the field) during my undergraduate studies in Urban Ecology. I was intrigued so I completed the Geography Minor and found that I particularly enjoyed the GIS and cartography classes. With GIS tying in well with Urban Ecology, I decided to continue my studies at the U and was accepted into the MSGIS program.

I have worked in GIS field for the last year and a half at AECOM, working on their biggest contractor - FEMA. After graduation, I plan to continue my career with them and develop my GIS skills even further.

When I'm not working or doing homework, you can often find me hanging out with friends or my girlfriend, watching the Jazz, playing videogames, or exploring the outdoors on a hike!
